We do calendar math in my classroom each day. Another thing we use regularly is the word wall. Both are essential parts of my classroom and both have lots of pieces that need to be organized. So, I thought about how I could organize them cheaply.
I came up with the idea of using some Swiffer wet wipe containers I already had around the house. I cleaned the boxes and removed the plastic label around them. Then, I created monthly labels to put on the top and side of each. I've included them as a freebie below. Just click on the picture.
I printed the labels, laminated them, and hot glued them on. Here's how they came out.
Now I'm thinking about how else to use these boxes. I am thinking about using them to hold student math manipulative supplies. Thanks for stopping by Grade School Giggles and taking the time to read my post. Let me know if you have any other storage ideas for these boxes.
Mandy over at Mandy's Tips for Teachers is hosting a linky party all about supply organization. She is sharing some free supply labels too. I decided to link up this post and I can't wait to see what other ideas are shared. Hop on over by clicking on the button below.
As always, thanks for stopping by and reading this post. Ya'll rock!
