Well, it's been some kind of crazy around here. It's not even dinner time yet and I've been to a movie, out to eat, to a crafting class, finished a product, another binder cover, and made a project for my classroom. Really, I'm not sure what happened because I'm never that productive. Oh, I am babysitting today too. Yeah, it's crazy around here today.
First up are the freebie circus themed binder covers that were requested. Click on the picture if you want them.
I'm also excited to share my project with you. Today, I made dividers for my bookshelf. I like to store the books I read aloud by the month when I plan to use them. The problem is that it's hard to keep them all organized on my shelves when I'm in a rush. Our media specialist uses paint stirrers to help the kids put their books back correctly on the shelf when they are picking out books and that gave me an idea.

Home Depot gave me the paint stirrers and I used some spray paint to paint them white. Then, I used some paint pens to add details. I labeled the first set with months, but I plan to make more with other labels too. I love it when I can organize without spending a fortune. Yeah!
Oh, I told you that I finished a product today too. It's my Graphing Through The Month unit for May. It's aligned to the Common Core Standards for first grade, but it would be suitable for k-2 classrooms. The first comment gets it free...just be sure you include your email. If you want to check it out just click on the picture.
Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to read this post. As always, I love comments!

Love the graphing activity.
