Free Pokey Cards and A Sale!

It's back to school season and my baby started kindergarten. She is working on initial sounds and wanted some help. So, I made her a set of poke and check cards.

In order for them to be self-checking, I used a hole punch to create holes for her to stick her pencil through. I drew an arrow to the correct hole on the back so she could flip it over and tell if she got it right. This is a freebie for all blog readers because ya'll are awesome and I'm thankful for your visits. Just click here or on the picture to download your copy.

I am planning on making more of these with different skills for my TPT store. If you like them, please tell me what skills you would be looking for.

Speaking of my TPT store. The big Back to School Sale is Sunday and Monday. Everything in my store will be on sale for 20% off from me and you can use the promo code BTS12 for an additional discount making all of my stuff 28% off! Don't forget the code!

You can find more teachers participating in the sale over at Blog Hoppin's Back To School Sale Linky Party here.

  1. Thank you for the freebie. I would like to see some with ending sound, numbers are good, rhyming would be good to if you can do this. Again thanks for the freebie and I hope you have a blessed school year. Your little on is lucky to have a creative mom like you.

    1. You're welcome for the freebie. Thanks for your suggestions. I will add them to my idea file for when I get some time.

  2. Love this freebie and will use it with my first graders at the beginning of the year and then my kindergarteners later on! I would love to see some blends and digraphs, as well rhyming words.
